Rep. Mike Flood, who represents Nebraska's 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared his thoughts on various topics through a series of tweets. These posts cover housing programs, public access to democracy via streaming services, and developments at Offutt Air Force Base.

On March 25, 2025, Rep. Flood expressed gratitude towards Secretary Turner and Secretary Noem for their efforts in ensuring that housing programs benefit American citizens without encouraging illegal immigration. He stated: "Thank you to @SecretaryTurner and @Sec_Noem for your work to ensure that our country’s housing programs help the American people and don’t encourage people to break the law to come here!"

Later that day, he congratulated C-SPAN on its anniversary and called upon streaming platforms like YouTube, Hulu, and fuboTV to enhance public access to democratic processes. His tweet read: "Congratulations to @cspan on 46 years of excellence. As we look to the future, it’s time for @YouTube, @Hulu, @fuboTV, and other streaming services to step up so Americans can continue to enjoy public access to democracy and the inner workings of our constitutional republic."

In another post from March 25th, Rep. Flood discussed his visit with Rep. Don Bacon at the Pentagon regarding the expansion of Offutt Air Force Base. He emphasized the base's role in national security by stating: "Joined @RepDonBacon at the Pentagon this week to talk about growing @Offutt_AFB. The work happening at Offutt and @US_STRATCOM helps keep America safe every day - I look forward to what the future holds!"
