On Friday, Feb. 28, former Pius X High School standout Ceara Swanson’s current college team, the Rockhurst Hawks, lost 8-4 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The game took place at Mid-America Sports Complex. This was their first matchup against the Gorillas this season.

The Hawks’ next game is scheduled for Friday, March 7 at 12 p.m. at Loyola Park Softball Field against Maryville Saints.
