On Friday, April 18, Lincoln East High School standouts, including Garrett Springer, competed in an NCAA Division II baseball game for Washburn Ichabods

On Friday, April 18, three former Lincoln East High School standouts, including Garrett Springer, Owen Laessig and Sam Wragge’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, lost 17-16 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Pittsburg State Gorillas.

The game took place at Al Ortolani Field. This was their third matchup against the Gorillas this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, April 22 at 3 p.m. at Falley Field against Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers.
