On Saturday, March 1, former Lincoln East High School standout Katie Hogue’s current college team, the UNC Pembroke Braves, lost 7-1 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Tusculum Pioneers.

The game took place at Red Edmonds Field. This was their second matchup against the Pioneers this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, March 9 at 1 p.m. at Purnell Swett High School against Wingate Bulldogs.
