On Sunday, April 6, former Beatrice High School standout Avery Barnard’s current college team, the Creighton Bluejays, won 13-0 in their NCAA Division I softball game against the Georgetown Hoyas.

The game took place at Washington Nationals Youth Academy. This was their third matchup against the Hoyas this season.

The Bluejays’ next game is scheduled for Wednesday, April 9 at 6 p.m. at Bowlin Stadium against Nebraska Cornhuskers.
