On Wednesday, April 2, Lincoln East High School standouts, including Garrett Springer, competed in an NCAA Division II baseball game for Washburn Ichabods

On Wednesday, April 2, three former Lincoln East High School standouts, including Garrett Springer, Owen Laessig and Sam Wragge’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, lost 10-7 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Northwestern Oklahoma State Rangers.

The game took place at Glass Family Field at Myers Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Rangers this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, April 5 at 2 p.m. at Falley Field against Rogers State Hillcats.
