On Tuesday, March 4, three former Lincoln East High School standouts, including Garrett Springer, Owen Laessig and Sam Wragge’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 13-5 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the William Jewell Cardinals.

The game took place at Talley Stadium. This was their first matchup against the Cardinals this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 3 p.m. at Bearcat Baseball Field against Northwest Missouri State Bearcats.
