On March 25, 2025, Rep. Mike Flood expressed appreciation towards AARP Nebraska for their efforts in combating loneliness among seniors. He noted, "Welcomed @AARPNE to my district office last week. Thanks for your support in the battle against the loneliness epidemic and for your work advocating for our seniors across #NE01!"

In a subsequent tweet on March 25, Rep. Flood shared his honor in attending the third annual awards ceremony hosted by the Lincoln Police Department. He remarked, "It was an honor to join @Lincoln_Police for their third annual awards ceremony. So many inspiring leaders — including LPD's Officer of the Year, SVU Investigator Mike Barry. Thank you for all your work to keep Lincoln safe!"

Furthermore, on March 26, 2025, the Rep. emphasized his proactive stance in addressing weather-related issues in Nebraska. He mentioned, "I’ve reached out to the NWS to learn more about this issue. Through flooding, blizzards, tornadoes, and more, Nebraskans have relied on forecasts from the NWS and it is my hope to see the agency continue to serve Nebraska well for many years to come."
