Rep. Adrian Smith, who represents Nebraska’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, recently highlighted local achievements and community engagement through a series of posts on September 2, 2025.

In his first post at 19:21 UTC, Smith recognized two students for their artistic accomplishments: "Congratulations to @LitchfieldPS students Malynn Boyles and James Fletcher for their achievements in this year's Congressional Art Competition. Your creativity and hard work underscore the talent and spirit of #NE03 communities."

Later that evening at 20:53 UTC, he expressed appreciation for healthcare professionals in rural Nebraska: "I am grateful to @GoodLifeRX in Ord for last week’s discussion. Pharmacists play a crucial role in patient care, particularly in regions where access to healthcare can be a challenge for Nebraskans."

In his final post of the day at 22:52 UTC, Smith thanked local organizations for facilitating conversations about economic development: "Thanks to @ordne for hosting a thoughtful dialogue with local leaders last week. Their insights on local small business, economic, and workforce issues help guide my work on behalf of #NE03."

Smith has represented Nebraska’s 3rd District since replacing Tom Osborne in Congress in 2007. Before serving in Congress, he was a member of the Nebraska Legislature from 1999 to 2007. Born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1970 and currently residing in Gering, Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts degree.
