Flood began serving in Congress after replacing Jeff Fortenberry in 2022. He previously served in the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013. Born in Omaha in 1975 and currently residing in Norfolk, Flood holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
