U.S. Senators Deb Fischer and Ben Ray Luján have responded to a recent ruling by the United States Supreme Court concerning the Universal Service Fund (USF). Fischer, who serves as Chair of the Senate Telecommunications and Media Subcommittee, along with Luján, the Ranking Member, expressed their views in a joint statement.

"We’re encouraged by the Supreme Court’s ruling on the Universal Service Fund, and we look forward to working together to focus on long-term solutions for the USF, evaluate broadband programs, and help connect unserved and underserved communities across America," they stated.

Earlier this month, both senators announced the reconstitution of the USF Working Group. This initiative aims to address issues related to broadband access and connectivity in various parts of the country.
