U.S. Congressman Mike Flood has expressed approval following the recent announcement by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) and President Donald Trump regarding the year-round availability of E15 fuel in several Midwestern states. The decision affects Nebraska, Illinois, Iowa, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, South Dakota, and Wisconsin.

Flood acknowledged the efforts of EPA Administrator Zeldin and President Trump in making E15 accessible throughout the year across these states. He emphasized the importance of this move in providing Americans with "American made, clean, and affordable fuel." Flood has been a long-time advocate for extending E15 access to all states throughout the year.

He stated: “Thank you to Administrator Zeldin and President Trump for allowing E15 year-round across the Midwest. This is a critical step in helping Americans keep access to American made, clean, and affordable fuel."

Flood also conveyed his hope that further progress would be made under the Trump administration to ensure every state can benefit from this affordable fuel option. He added: "We want every state to enjoy the same access, so every American has this affordable fuel that helps clean up our air while growing our rural communities.”

The official announcement from the EPA is available for public viewing.
