Rep. Mike Flood, who represents Nebraska's 1st district in the U.S. Congress, shared several updates through his social media account regarding legislative actions and community engagement initiatives.

On February 6, 2025, Rep. Flood expressed gratitude towards a bipartisan majority in the House for passing H.R. 27, known as the HALT Fentanyl Act. He highlighted the importance of this legislation by stating: "A big thanks to the bipartisan majority in the House that just voted to pass H.R. 27, also known as the HALT Fentanyl Act, to help our country save lives and take another step towards stopping the fentanyl crisis America has been suffering."

On February 7, 2025, Rep. Flood announced an opportunity for constituents to receive assistance from his office during Mobile Office Hours on February 11th in Fremont. He stated: "ICYMI My office will be hosting Mobile Office Hours on Tuesday, February 11th in Fremont. This is a great opportunity to get assistance with federal agencies, benefits issues, and more. Be sure to bring any relevant documents if you plan to attend."

Later on February 7th, he invited submissions for the annual Congressional Art Competition via social media: "My office is now accepting submissions for this year's Congressional Art Competition. The winning piece will be displayed in @uscapitol and runner-ups in other locations. Don’t miss this chance to help showcase your talents!"
