On January 23, 2025, Rep. Flood expressed his views on the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act by stating, "Every human life is a gift. Right now, federal law does not make it clear whether children born, even amid an attempted abortion, have a right to medical care. The Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act places a federal standard into law and provides basic protections."
In another tweet on the same day, he described the act as "This is a commonsense measure that defends against practices that amount to infanticide and ensures that our healthcare system is doing more to respect every human life."
Later that day, Rep. Flood commented on an executive order related to digital assets by saying, "The executive order he signed today is a key step forward to unleashing the potential of cryptocurrency and ushering in the golden age of digital assets."
