U.S. Congressman Mike Flood recently hosted a delegation from Nebraska for a briefing on manufactured housing in Hagerstown, Maryland. The group, led by the Norfolk Chamber of Commerce, included participants from Columbus, Lincoln, Norfolk, and West Point.
Congressman Flood highlighted the importance of manufactured housing as a potential solution to the nation's housing crisis. "It was an honor to welcome Nebraskans from the Columbus, Lincoln, Norfolk, and West Point areas to learn more about manufactured homes and how they can help us address America’s housing crisis," he stated. He further explained that these homes provide a cost-effective option for homebuyers facing financial pressures. "Manufactured housing offers a unique and cost-effective solution in a marketplace where homebuyers are facing lots of pressures and need affordable solutions," said Flood. The price range for these homes is expected to be between $260,000 and $375,000.
The Nebraska delegation toured Kilpatrick Woods, a newly constructed community of manufactured homes in Hagerstown.
