U.S. Congressman Mike Flood has announced that the upcoming Flyover Fintech Conference will feature a panel on "Digital Asset ETFs." This event, set to take place in Lincoln, Nebraska, on October 21, 2024, will include representatives from Bitwise Asset Management, Blackrock, Fidelity Investments, and Grayscale Investments.

"The SEC’s approval of spot trading for Bitcoin and Ethereum ETPs this year was a historic development for digital assets in the United States," said Congressman Flood. "I’m excited to announce Flyover Fintech’s 'Digital Asset ETFs' panel, featuring leading change-makers who are helping connect Americans to this rapidly growing market. This is one of several impactful panels at my upcoming Flyover Fintech conference – the registration deadline is drawing near, and I encourage everyone interested in joining to register today."

The panelists include Johanna Collins-Wood from Bitwise Asset Management, Matthew Brennan from BlackRock, Matt Horne from Fidelity Investments’ Digital Asset Management division, and Krista Lynch from Grayscale’s ETF team.

Johanna Collins-Wood serves as senior counsel at Bitwise Asset Management and chief compliance officer of Bitwise Investment Manager. She has previously worked with financial technology companies at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati and Troutman Pepper Hamilton Sanders. A Duke Law graduate, she began her career at Davis Polk & Wardwell in London.

Matthew Brennan heads the US ETF Capital Markets team at BlackRock. His team monitors and improves the ETF ecosystem including investors and trading venues. Before joining BlackRock in 2015, he worked at J.P. Morgan focusing on Collateral Risk Management.

Matt Horne leads Fidelity Investments’ digital asset strategist team within its Digital Asset Management division. He has held various roles across Fidelity’s asset management business and distribution channels before launching their digital asset ETP business. Prior to his tenure at Fidelity, he served as a nuclear submarine officer in the US Navy.

Krista Lynch is Vice President on Grayscale’s ETF team where she oversees ETF Capital Markets. She collaborates with Authorized Participants and digital asset liquidity providers to ensure healthy trading of Grayscale’s ETFs. Previously she managed daily primary market trading for iShares fixed income ETFs at BlackRock.

Flyover Fintech conferences feature diverse speakers including members of the House Financial Services Committee and prominent figures in fintech.

Previously announced speakers for this year's conference include House Financial Services Committee Chairman Patrick McHenry; Congressman Andy Barr; and Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance Director Kelly Lammers.
