U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced that Flyover Fintech will feature a panel on "Cybersecurity." The event, scheduled for October 21, 2024, in Lincoln, Nebraska, will include industry leaders from Featurespace, Fiserv, Palo Alto, and Pindrop.
"From surfing the internet to flying airplanes, the future of cybersecurity is intricately connected to our lives," said Congressman Flood. "I’m pleased to welcome this panel of industry innovators whose work helps secure our digital financial future and protect the broader fintech sector."
Dr. Vijay Balasubramaniyan, Co-Founder and CEO of Pindrop, will be one of the panelists. His company specializes in deepfake detection and voice authentication. Rick Van Luvender from Fiserv will also participate; he currently serves as Senior Vice President and Head of Cybersecurity Client Trust & International Cybersecurity Services at Fiserv. Don Riddick from Featurespace will join as well; he is responsible for all legal and regulatory affairs worldwide for his company.
Palo Alto's representative for the panel has yet to be announced.
Flyover Fintech conferences feature a range of speakers from members of the House Financial Services Committee to leading voices in the fintech industry. Congressman Flood has previously announced that House Financial Services Committee Chairman Patrick McHenry, Congressman Andy Barr, and Nebraska Department of Banking and Finance Director Kelly Lammers will also address this year’s conference.
Additionally, a panel titled "Innovation in Nebraska" with representatives from FNBO, the Johnny Carson Center, Nelnet, and Telcoin was recently announced.
