WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood commended the University of Nebraska Board of Regents for selecting Dr. Jeff Gold as the priority candidate to serve as the next President of the University of Nebraska System.

In a statement, Congressman Flood expressed his support for the decision, stating, "Congratulations to the Board of Regents on naming Dr. Gold as the priority candidate to serve as NU’s next President. Dr. Gold brings valuable experience in marshaling research resources and pursuing major initiatives with him from his time as chancellor at UNMC and UNO."
