In the fourth quarter of 2023, Colonial Acres Nursing Home stood out as the third largest nursing home in Richardson County, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).

Data shows that the nursing center had a total of 49 beds available, 22 less than the average in Richardson County as of the fourth quarter of 2023. They aided an average of 33.3 residents during that period.

Colonial Acres Nursing Home boasted an overall rating of 4 from the CMS, which is higher than the average of 3 recorded for nursing homes in Nebraska.

During the quarter, Falls City Care Center stood out as the largest nursing home in Richardson County, with 101 beds available. Falls City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center came in second place, with 63 beds available.

As of the fourth quarter of 2023, Colonial Acres Nursing Home has spent a total of $5,850 in four fines and suffered four penalties.

In total, there was one public nursing home in Richardson County, Nebraska.

But when you need that type of care, there are limited options.”
