Rep. Adrian Smith, who represents Nebraska’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, highlighted local businesses and agricultural achievements in a series of posts on social media between September 23 and September 25, 2025.
On September 23, Smith acknowledged the growth of a local business: "Papa Moon has been serving Nebraskans locally since 2013 and has expanded with a second location in Scottsbluff featuring something for the whole family. Great to see this small business growing and enriching the community."
The following day, Smith described his tour with a federal official: "Today’s tour with @usda Under Secretary for Trade and Foreign Agricultural Affairs Luke Lindberg began in Chapman at Preferred Popcorn. Nebraska is #1 for popcorn production with customers around the world." This visit underscored Nebraska's prominent role in global popcorn production.
On September 25, Smith discussed policy matters related to agriculture: "We ended our tour by sitting down with agriculture producers to discuss Joint Review of USMCA and the importance of input from our farmers and ranchers. Thank you to @TeamPillen for joining us and to @NEFarmBureau and @CentralValleyAg for helping host!"
Smith has served as Nebraska’s 3rd district representative since replacing Tom Osborne in Congress in 2007. He previously held office in the Nebraska Legislature from 1999 to 2007.
