Rep. Mike Flood, who represents Nebraska’s 1st district in the U.S. Congress, recently used his social media platform to promote Flyover Fintech 2025 and comment on recent national events.
On September 15, Flood reminded followers about an important deadline for an upcoming event, writing: "Last call! TODAY is the deadline to register for Flyover Fintech. The following day, on September 16, Flood addressed a major news development with a post stating: "The assassination of Charlie Kirk is a watershed moment for free speech. Flood has represented Nebraska’s 1st district since 2022 after replacing Jeff Fortenberry and previously served in the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013. Born in Omaha in 1975 and currently residing in Norfolk, he holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
