Flood has served in Congress since 2022 after replacing Jeff Fortenberry as representative for Nebraska’s 1st district. He previously held office in the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013. Born in Omaha in 1975 and currently residing in Norfolk, Flood holds degrees from both the University of Notre Dame (BA) and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln (JD).
