Rep. Mike Flood, U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska’s 1st district since 2022, shared updates on his official X account about streaming services and international relations in early September 2025.
On September 3, Flood posted his support for recent changes in streaming service offerings: "I applaud Google/YouTube TV and Disney/Hulu + Live TV adding C-SPAN and hope additional streaming services follow their example in the near future." Flood has served as Nebraska’s representative in Congress since succeeding Jeff Fortenberry in 2022. Before his tenure in Congress, he was a member of the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013. Born in Omaha in 1975 and currently residing in Norfolk, Flood earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Notre Dame in 1997 and completed his law degree at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2001.
