Rep. Adrian Smith, who represents Nebraska’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, addressed a range of topics on his official Twitter account in late August 2025, including condolences for victims of violence, constituent outreach, and highlighting agricultural achievements.

On August 27, Smith responded to recent tragic events in Minnesota by stating, "I am heartbroken at the news of violence against children and other worshippers while they attended Mass at their Minneapolis school. I am praying for the victims and their families."

Two days later, on August 29, Smith informed constituents about upcoming staff visits to Harrisburg: "My staff will be in Harrisburg next week. Please stop by if you need help with a federal agency or have thoughts to share! https://t.co/cPc7iRZLQS"

Later that same day, he highlighted a visit from EPA Secretary Zeldin to the Nebraska State Fair: "Pleased to have @EPA Secretary Zeldin visit the Nebraska State Fair this week. What a wonderful opportunity to showcase our state and our incredible agricultural industry! https://t.co/KdugTIbcsq"

Born in Scottsbluff in 1970 and currently residing in Gering, Smith is an alumnus of the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a Bachelor of Arts degree earned in 1993.
