U.S. Congressman Mike Flood has announced that the upcoming Flyover Fintech Conference in Lincoln, Nebraska, will include a panel on “Bank-Fintech Partnerships.” The event is scheduled for September 23, 2025, and will feature representatives from Square Financial Services, Betterment, Chime, and Mercury.
“Traditional banking and fintech companies are developing innovative partnerships that are growing America’s financial future,” said Congressman Flood. “I’m excited to welcome this panel of experts who will provide key insights about some of the amazing things happening across this growing sector of financial services. With less than five weeks to go, I encourage anyone interested in joining the conversation to register for Flyover Fintech today.”
Panelists include Ana Lynn Bukberg, Chief Product Officer at Square Financial Services; Megan Fitzgerald, Senior Director of Legal at Betterment; Aaron Plante, VP of Banking at Chime; and Dan Swislow, Director of Policy & Government Affairs at Mercury. Each brings experience in areas such as risk management, product development, government engagement, and legal structuring within the fintech sector.
Flood has served as the U.S. Representative for Nebraska’s 1st District since 2022 after replacing Jeff Fortenberry. Before his time in Congress, he was a member of the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013. He was born in Omaha in 1975 and currently resides in Norfolk. Flood graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a BA in 1997 and earned a JD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in 2001.
