Flood has represented Nebraska’s 1st district in Congress since replacing Jeff Fortenberry in 2022. Before his tenure in Congress, he served in the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013. Born in Omaha in 1975 and currently residing in Norfolk at age 48, Flood holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
