Rep. Mike Flood, U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska’s 1st district since 2022, recently shared updates on legislative achievements and leadership roles through a series of posts on July 21 and 22, 2025.
On July 21, Rep. Flood announced the passage of his bill in the House: "UPDATE My Equal Opportunity for All Investors Act just passed the House with strong bipartisan support! Later that evening, he highlighted Nebraska's role in biofuel production: “Nebraska remains a national leader in biofuel production... On July 22, Rep. Flood succeeded Jeff Fortenberry in Congress and has previously served in the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013. Born in Omaha in 1975, he resides in Norfolk and holds degrees from both the University of Notre Dame and University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
