Today, U.S. Senator Deb Fischer (R-Neb.) announced that the U.S. Department of Education will release funds, including those for 21st Century Community Learning Centers.

This announcement follows Fischer's collaboration with her Republican colleagues in a letter to Russell Vought, Director of the White House Office of Management and Budget (OMB), advocating for the release of anticipated education formula funding.

“I’m pleased OMB Director Vought followed through on our request to release these funds, which provide critical learning opportunities and support for Nebraska’s students and families,” Fischer said.
