Rep. Adrian Smith, a long-serving member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska's 3rd district since 2007, recently shared several updates on his Twitter account regarding his engagements and priorities.

On June 20, 2025, Smith extended his congratulations to Makinzie Gregory of Scottsbluff and Gabriella Swift of North Platte. In his tweet, he wrote: "Congratulations to the recently crowned @missamericane Makinzie Gregory of Scottsbluff and Miss Nebraska’s Teen Gabriella Swift of North Platte! It was a pleasure to meet you at this year's @NEBRASKAlandDAY."

Later that day, Smith announced plans for his staff to visit multiple locations in Nebraska. He tweeted: "My staff will be in Nelson, Ravenna, Butte, Beaver City, St. Paul, Central City, Burwell, Hebron & Stockville next week. Please stop by if you need help with a federal agency or have thoughts to share!" This initiative aims to provide constituents with assistance and an opportunity to discuss their concerns.

On June 21, 2025, Smith expressed gratitude towards Twin Cities Health Services for their recent discussions about healthcare access in rural communities. His tweet stated: "Thanks to @tchsne for the recent dialogue. Promoting access to health care in rural communities is one of my highest priorities in Congress."

Born in Scottsbluff in 1970 and currently residing in Gering, Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a BA in 1993.
