Rep. Adrian Smith, currently serving in the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska’s 3rd district, has been active on social media discussing economic policies and community engagement. Smith, who replaced Tom Osborne in 2007, has a background in the Nebraska Legislature and holds a BA from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln.

On June 18, 2025, Rep. Smith highlighted an estimate by the White House Council of Economic Advisors regarding economic policies and tax relief under #OBBBA. According to Smith's tweet, these measures are expected to increase take-home pay for a typical family with two children in Nebraska by up to $12,500. He noted that successful TCJA policies have previously spurred growth and opportunity.

On June 20, 2025, Smith shared his experience visiting Landmark Snacks in Beatrice through a tweet. He emphasized his commitment to ensuring federal policy supports workers and small businesses in Nebraska.

Later that day, Smith engaged with Deshler leaders about community development plans. In his tweet, he expressed appreciation for the discussion and reaffirmed his dedication to advocating for rural communities across Nebraska’s 3rd District.

Smith was born in Scottsbluff, Nebraska in 1970 and currently resides in Gering.
