On Sunday, Feb. 16, former Lincoln East High School standouts Carter Mick and Mason Gaines’ current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, lost 10-7 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Tulane Green Wave.

The game took place at Greer Field at Turchin Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Green Wave this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, Feb. 18 at 6:30 p.m. at Ben Meyer Diamond at Ray E. Didier Field against Nicholls State Colonels.
