On Sunday, March 23, former Lincoln East High School standouts Carter Mick and Mason Gaines’ current college team, the Omaha Mavericks, lost 5-3 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.

The game took place at J. L. Johnson Stadium. This was their third matchup against the Golden Eagles this season.

The Mavericks’ next game is scheduled for Tuesday, March 25 at 5 p.m. at Tal Anderson Field against Creighton Bluejays.
