On Thursday, Feb. 13, former Lincoln East High School standout Katie Hogue’s current college team, the UNC Pembroke Braves, lost 9-8 in their NCAA Division II softball game against the Newberry Wolves.

The game took place at Smith Road Complex. This was their first matchup against the Wolves this season.

The Braves’ next game is scheduled for Saturday, March 1 at 1 p.m. at Red Edmonds Field against Tusculum Pioneers.
