On Monday, Feb. 10, three former Lincoln East High School standouts, including Garrett Springer, Owen Laessig and Sam Wragge’s current college team, the Washburn Ichabods, won 5-3 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the Barry Buccaneers.

The game took place at Feinbloom Field. This was their first matchup against the Buccaneers this season.

The Ichabods’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 23 at 1 p.m. at Falley Field against Central Oklahoma Bronchos.
