On Saturday, Feb. 1, three former Lincoln East High School standouts, including Calvin Peterson, Keinan Lentell and Tyson Romero’s current college team, the Wayne State Wildcats, lost 17-10 in their NCAA Division II baseball game against the UCCS Mountain Lions.

The game took place at Kino Sports Complex. This was their second matchup against the Mountain Lions this season.

The Wildcats’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, Feb. 2 at 2 p.m. at Kino Sports Complex against CSU Pueblo ThunderWolves.
