Rep. Mike Flood, a member of the U.S. Congress representing Nebraska's 1st district since 2022, has been actively engaging with the public on various legislative initiatives through social media. His recent posts focus on efforts to pass significant legislation and address housing policy concerns.

On May 19, Rep. Flood announced his participation in a discussion on Fox Business, where he would talk about the House GOP's efforts to pass "The One, Big, Beautiful Bill." He encouraged viewers to tune in for more insights into this legislative push.

Later that day, Rep. Flood shared further details about the bill via another post. He emphasized that the House GOP is focused on delivering former President Donald Trump's agenda by providing tax relief for working Americans and achieving other conservative goals through this comprehensive bill.

On May 20, Rep. Flood addressed issues related to affordable homeownership in a subsequent tweet. He led a letter to the Federal Housing Finance Agency (FHFA) expressing concerns over Government-Sponsored Enterprises (GSEs) potentially obstructing the acceptance of actual cash value insurance policies.

Rep. Mike Flood was born in Omaha, Nebraska in 1975 and currently resides in Norfolk. A graduate of the University of Notre Dame and holder of a JD from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, he previously served in the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013 before joining Congress.
