Rep. Mike Flood, a U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska’s 1st district, recently shared several updates via social media. His posts highlight engagements with healthcare professionals and acknowledge significant events both domestically and internationally.

On May 7, Rep. Flood welcomed the Nebraska Hospital Association to Washington D.C. for a roundtable discussion. He expressed gratitude for their contributions to delivering high-quality care across the state of Nebraska.

In another post on May 7, during National Nurses Week, Rep. Flood celebrated nurses as fundamental pillars of the healthcare system. He commended their dedication, compassion, and sacrifice in providing quality care from rural clinics to city hospitals nationwide.

Rep. Mike Flood has been serving in Congress since 2022 after replacing Jeff Fortenberry. Prior to his congressional service, he was part of the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013. Born in Omaha in 1975, Flood holds degrees from the University of Notre Dame and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
