Rep. Mike Flood, who has been serving Nebraska's 1st district in the U.S. Congress since 2022, shared updates on various initiatives and achievements through a series of tweets. Flood, who replaced Jeff Fortenberry, previously served in the Nebraska State Legislature from 2007 to 2013.

On February 19, 2025, Rep. Mike Flood announced his recent discussion with Punchbowl News regarding his vision for the Housing and Insurance Subcommittee during the 119th Congress. He stated, "I recently sat down with @PunchbowlNews to talk about my vision for the Housing and Insurance Subcommittee during the 119th Congress. We covered manufactured housing, opportunities for bipartisan cooperation, and more."

Later that day, Flood informed constituents of a change in schedule for Mobile Office Hours in Plattsmouth. He tweeted on February 19: "NEW DATE My office will now be hosting Mobile Office Hours in Plattsmouth on Tuesday, February 25th." He highlighted this as an opportunity for residents to seek assistance with federal agencies and benefits issues.

On February 20, Rep. Flood extended congratulations to a local sports team via Twitter: "Congratulations to @npspanthers on winning the 2025 state championship in girls wrestling!" This tweet recognized the achievement of the team.
