Rep. Mike Flood, a U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska's 1st district since 2022, recently shared several updates via social media. The posts reflect his political activities and engagements with constituents.

On February 12, 2025, Rep. Flood commented on President Donald Trump's efforts to address the nation's fiscal policies. He stated, "President @realDonaldTrump is working to get America's fiscal house in order." Flood mentioned his participation in a discussion on C-SPAN where they explored parallels between the President's initiatives and state-level audits of spending.

Later that day, Rep. Flood highlighted his attendance at an event hosted by the Nebraska Chamber of Commerce. In a tweet posted on February 12, he wrote, "Joined the @NebraskaChamber recently as they honored this year's hall of fame inductees." He extended congratulations to Paul and Lori Hogan, as well as former State Senators Matt Williams and John Stinner for their induction into the Hall of Fame.

On February 13, Rep. Flood addressed environmental policy in another post concerning President Trump's pledge to end the Green New Deal. He tweeted about his legislative proposal titled the Ending Green Giveaways Act aimed at retracting taxpayer funds from an EPA grant program associated with the Green New Deal: "My bill, the Ending Green Giveaways Act, claws back taxpayer dollars going to an @EPA Green New Deal grant program."
