WASHINGTON, D.C. – Today, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood reminded Nebraska high school students of the upcoming deadline for the 2024 Congressional Art Competition, set for March 29, 2024.

"This is a great opportunity for Nebraska’s high school-aged artists to put their skills to work and help us highlight the great talent growing right here in Nebraska," said Rep. Flood.

The competition, which has been running nationwide since 1982, offers high school students the chance to have their artwork displayed in the U.S. Capitol alongside other winning pieces from across the country.

“I encourage high school students to participate in the art competition, and to submit their work within the next two weeks,” added Rep. Flood.

Interested participants can find complete details about the competition on the official website. High school artists are encouraged to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their talents and represent Nebraska on a national platform.
