2.8% of citizens unemployed in Cass County in 2021

Cass County recorded an unemployment rate of 2.8% among residents aged 16 and 65 years old in 2021. That’s 394 people out of the 26,546 living in Cass County at the time, according to data obtained from the U.S. Census Bureau.

The unemployment rate in Cass County has increased compared to the 2.7% registered in 2020.

The percentage of people unemployed in Cass County was less than the statewide unemployment rate of 3.3%.

Of the 13,585 people who had a job during that time, 76 were employed in the Armed Forces and 13,509 belonged to the civilian labor force.
