LINCOLN, NEBRASKA – On July 11, U.S. Congressman Mike Flood announced that Flyover Fintech would feature a panel titled “Clarity and Custody: Why the Lack of Clarity for Custodians Stifles Innovation.” The panel featuring industry leaders from Fireblocks, BitGo, Bain Capital Crypto, and Anchorage Digital will happen at the Congressman’s Flyover Fintech Conference in Lincoln on August 2, 2023.
“Our country’s dual-banking system has promoted innovation – innovation that should be encouraged in the area of crypto,” said Congressman Flood. “This panel will explore the future of Web 3, NFTs, and Decentralized Finance. Jason Allegrante is the Chief Legal & Compliance Officer at Fireblocks, a market leading provider of enterprise software solutions that enable businesses to securely interact with blockchain technologies. Since 2018, Jason has served as senior legal counsel to early stage fintech and SaaS companies, advising on critical matters at the intersection of financial services and the emerging digital asset economy.
Jeff Horowitz is the Chief Compliance Officer of BitGo where he’s responsible for the company’s global compliance program. Jeff oversees BitGo’s Compliance and AML programs across the entire enterprise to meet the highest standards of compliance and regulatory requirements. Prior to joining BitGo, Jeff was the CCO for Coinbase, where he led the firm’s global compliance program, managed regulatory and bank partner relationships and helped to shape Crypto, AML, and FATF regulation with both foreign and domestic regulators.
Vy Le is Partner and Head of Regulatory & Policy at Bain Capital Crypto, where she advises an infrastructure-focused portfolio of Web3 projects on regulatory issues, conducts regulatory due diligence, and leads policy education and advocacy efforts. Vy has over a decade of experience as a regulatory and enforcement lawyer in both crypto and traditional finance, including almost six years at the SEC.
Kevin Wysocki is Director of Policy at Anchorage Digital. He works with stakeholders throughout the digital asset ecosystem to enhance government policies regulating the industry. Prior to joining Anchorage Digital, Kevin worked on Capitol Hill for more than seven years where he helped enact five financial services bills into law.
