Thanks to the Nebraska Department of Transportation, Highway Safety Office, the Plattsmouth Police Department will once again be participating in the national Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over mobilization.
Extra patrol will be on the streets through the Labor Day weekend looking specifically for impaired drivers. We have zero tolerance for those who decide to drive drunk, so be aware of the situation you are in and always have a designated driver if consuming alcohol. Remember, buzzed driving is drunk driving so don’t take a chance. It’s not worth the risk.
