Sergeant Hanson from the Gage County Sheriff's Office participated in the Connecting the Dots Career Simulation at Southeast Community College in Beatrice. The program is administered by the University of Nebraska Extension Office. Sheriff Gustafson, Deputy Behrens, and Deputy Chavez also stopped in as the program was ongoing.
About 150 freshman from area high schools participated in the program which explored various careers, educational opportunities, and other options.
Students were given the opportunity to talk with various professionals and learn valuable tips on how to progress in the path for their career and educational choices.
