Graduates earn 504 degrees, certificates from Doane University-Graduate and Professional Studies

About 51.6 percent of the 504 degrees and certificates handed out by Doane University-Graduate and Professional Studies in 2017-18 were to students in education programs, making them the most popular programs that year, according to the latest disclosure from the U.S. Department of Education.

The agency's National Center for Education Statistics shows the private not-for-profit institution in Lincoln conferred 227 master's degrees and 20 certificates in education programs.

But the single most popular program was for a master's degree in curriculum and instruction. Data shows the school gave out 158 master's degrees in curriculum and instruction, followed by 57 bachelor's degrees in general business administration and management and 54 master's degrees in general educational leadership and administration.

The university enrolled 1,609 students for 2017-18, including 496 in undergraduate programs and 1,113 in graduate programs.
