Rep. Adrian Smith, who represents Nebraska’s 3rd district in the U.S. Congress, shared a series of posts on social media highlighting his work connecting young leaders with opportunities and extending birthday wishes to fellow Nebraska lawmakers.
On August 18, 2025, Smith posted about services available through his offices: "Through my offices in Nebraska and Washington, I offer several services connecting young leaders with unique experiences. See my latest column on Youth Opportunities."
The following day, August 19, 2025, he sent a congratulatory message to Rep. Don Bacon: "Best wishes to @RepDonBacon who had a birthday this weekend! Like breakfast, Team Nebraska is better with Bacon!"
Later that same day, Smith acknowledged Senator Pete Ricketts’ birthday: "Happy birthday, @SenatorRicketts! It's a pleasure to work with you to empower Nebraskans."
Smith has represented Nebraska’s 3rd district in Congress since 2007 after succeeding Tom Osborne. He previously served in the Nebraska Legislature from 1999 to 2007. Born in Scottsbluff in 1970 and currently residing in Gering, Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln in 1993.
