Constituents in Nebraska’s 3rd District will have the chance to meet with staff from Congressman Adrian Smith’s office at several outreach events scheduled in late August and early September. The meetings will take place in Greeley, Ord, Harrisburg, Hyannis, and Taylor.

A staff outreach event allows residents to discuss federal issues directly with a member of Smith's team, seek help with federal agencies, or learn about services provided by the congressman’s office. According to the announcement, “A staff outreach event is an opportunity for constituents to meet directly with a member of Smith's staff about federal issues, receive assistance with a federal agency, or take advantage of the services available through his office.”

Smith maintains offices in Grand Island, Scottsbluff, and Nebraska City. His staff will be available at these locations:

- Tuesday, August 26: Greeley County Courthouse (9:00–10:00 a.m. CT), Valley County Courthouse in Ord (11:15 a.m.–12:15 p.m. CT)

- Tuesday, September 2: Banner County Courthouse in Harrisburg (10:00–11:00 a.m. MT)

- Tuesday, September 9: Grant County Courthouse in Hyannis (11:45 a.m.–12:45 p.m. MT)

- Wednesday, September 10: Loup County Courthouse in Taylor (10:00–11:00 a.m. CT)

For more information on these events or other services offered by Smith’s office, constituents can contact the Grand Island office at (308) 384-3900; Scottsbluff at (308) 633-6333; or Nebraska City at (402) 874-6050.

Adrian Smith has represented Nebraska’s 3rd district in Congress since replacing Tom Osborne in 2007 and previously served in the Nebraska Legislature from 1999 to 2007. Born in Scottsbluff in 1970 and currently residing in Gering, Smith graduated from the University of Nebraska–Lincoln with a BA degree.

“A staff outreach event is an opportunity for constituents to meet directly with a member of Smith's staff about federal issues, receive assistance with a federal agency, or take advantage of the services available through his office,” according to the statement from his office.
