Rep. Mike Flood, U.S. Congressman representing Nebraska’s 1st district since 2022, recently addressed topics ranging from government policy to local industry and congressional camaraderie in a series of social media posts.

On August 15, 2025, Flood commented on economic policy and public sector proposals by stating, "Government-run grocery stores are a radical socialist fantasy that working Americans don’t want. Joined @FoxBusiness to talk this, the economy, and more https://t.co/bwneOuqnWZ".

Later that day, he spoke about advancements in sustainable fuels at an event in Ashland. In his post, he wrote, "Honored to address today’s Sustainable Aviation Fuels Conference in Ashland - we are on the cusp of the next great biofuels revolution and Nebraska is uniquely positioned to lead the way. Thanks to everyone who joined! https://t.co/YnNc8Jz0o5".

On August 16, 2025, Flood extended birthday wishes to a fellow congressman: "Happy birthday to my good friend and colleague @RepDonBacon. Thank you for your dedicated service to Nebraska and our nation! https://t.co/PnUDSBvuMN".
