U.S. Senator Deb Fischer has announced the opening of a public comment portal for the Universal Service Fund (USF) Working Group on her official website. The portal is designed to collect updated feedback about the future of the USF, which supports communications services across the country.
“As a co-chair of the Universal Service Fund Working Group, I’m committed to working toward a long-term solution for the Universal Service Fund and the communications services it supports. With our comment portal now open, I look forward to reviewing feedback with the goal of closing the digital divide for unserved and underserved communities across America,” Fischer said.
The comment portal can be accessed at fischer.senate.gov/usf. Members of the public are invited to submit their comments until Monday, September 15, 2025.
