U.S. Congressman Mike Flood has expressed his support following President Donald J. Trump's signing of an executive order titled “Strengthening American Leadership in Digital Financial Technology.” The announcement was made in Washington, D.C.
Flood stated, “President Trump is delivering on his promise to roll back the red tape that’s hindered the growth of America’s digital financial future. The executive order he signed today is a key step forward to unleashing the potential of cryptocurrency and ushering in the golden age of digital assets." He further mentioned his intention to collaborate with President Trump in efforts aimed at making America a leading hub for digital assets while also working towards repealing policies from the previous administration which he described as "anti-crypto."
Congressman Flood holds a position on the Financial Services Committee and organizes an annual event named "Flyover Fintech" in Lincoln, Nebraska. This conference focuses on Nebraska's contributions to digital assets and financial services.
